Mycorrhizae
Selected and exclusive strains, reproduced in vivo for a superior quality. Our strain of mycorrhiza BEG72 is the most studied in the world, and it is used as a reference in the scientific world, due to its superior performance and outstanding results.
“ A mycorrhized plant is a more suberized plant, stronger against rotting and oidium, and all this in a market where we will barely be able to use agrochemicals. A mycorrhized plant offers a series of advantages that were not valued before, but that today are increasing in importance.”
Isidoro Huesca, Technical advisor and VP of Agrupainver – Almería, Spain

QUALITY: Success key factor
The best strains and the best production method
Mycorrhizae are living organisms and their quality (infectivity and maturity) is key for their success. ATENS possess its own greenhouses where the mycorrhiza is reproduced IN VIVO. This method guarantees, compared to others, a high concentration and vitality of the spores and the absence of pathogens. The species produced by ATENS are:
• Rhizoglomus irregulare BEG72 (ex Rhizophagus intraradices): strain isolated by the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologies Agroalimentaries (IRTA), Barcelona, Spain.
• Funneliformis mosseae (ex Glomus mosseae): strain isolated by Instituto Canario de Investigaciones Agrarias (ICIA), Tenerife, Spain.
