Atens, Agrotecnologías Naturales, is a biotechnology company that promotes the transition from conventional rural practices to sustainable agriculture, with microorganisms as an innovative 100% sustainable way to drastically increase the efficiency of traditional fertilizers and reduce the use of chemical pesticides, avoiding the contamination of water and the environment, and preserving the income and productivity of farmers. Committed to agricultural transformation, Atens responds through innovation to the challenges facing farmers, consumers, and the planet: produce more, better and healthier food. For more than 28 years, Atens has been researching, developing, manufacturing and marketing microbiological solutions with high technological value in nutrition, biostimulation and plant protection, based on 100% natural active ingredients for crop care, health and the environment. Training and experience - Essential: MSc. and/or PhD in Biology with experience in microbiology and plant physiology. With proven experience in molecular biology and biochemical analysis. Previous work with mycorrhizae will be a plus. - Valuable: knowledge in cultivation of fungi, specially mycorrhizae, and bacteria. Familiarity with ISO 17025 standard. Tasks - Management of the daily work of the laboratory facilities. - Quality control of mycorrhizal agricultural products. - Analysis by PCR and qPCR. - Participation in research activities including writing scientific publications and project proposals. - Work under ISO 9001 and 17025 standards. Salary 27-30.000 € according to the experience of candidate
